What we collect
Nothing. This site is static. There are no accounts, no contact forms, no email-subscription forms, no comment sections, and no checkout. We do not ask for your name, your email, or any other personal information, and we have no database to store it in if you offered.
Cookies & local storage
We do not set any cookies. The only data we write to your browser is a single localStorage key:
theme— a string of either"light"or"dark", used to remember your preference for the dark-mode toggle in the navigation bar.
There are no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no session identifiers, and no third-party tags injected into the page.
Analytics
We currently run no analytics — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no server-side page-view counter. If we ever add a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Plausible or similar), we'll update this page before turning it on.
Server logs
This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may retain standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, request URL, response status, timestamp — for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes. We do not access, export, or analyze these logs ourselves.

Third-party data sources
The live pricing on this site is fetched server-side from the Yahoo Finance public chart endpoint. The request originates from our hosting provider, not your browser. Your IP address is never exposed to Yahoo, and Yahoo cannot set cookies or fingerprint your device through this site.
Children's privacy
This site is general-audience content about industrial commodities and recycling. It is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no information from anyone — including children.
Your rights
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, port, or delete. If you have a request related to server logs that Vercel may hold, you'll need to contact Vercel directly using the link in the Server logs section above.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material on this page — for example, if we ever add analytics, or move to a host with different log retention — we'll update the page and bump the date stamp below.
